TFR Temporary Flight Restrictions
Types of TFRsA TFR can be put in place for a variety of reasons, all with the intent of protecting people and improving safety. Certain aircraft may be authorized to operate within the confines of the restriction depending upon the type of TFR in place. Unless you are one of the authorized aircraft, you need to be able to safely avoid the restriction and risk.
